She also claimed that because the stories in the book are personal accounts of real people, they can be related to by ordinary individuals. Bendangsenla further added that the characters in the stories are not explained in detail but their ways and behaviours explains the biography of a character of, and this she said is the talent of the author while also adding that in many books the characters tend to be the mouth piece of the author but the characters have no agenda for the author in this book.
She concluded that the work captures the angst of a housewife and the feeling of lack that women suffer in society.
